Kayla began her first gymnastics class at the age of 3. At the
age of 13, she realized her desire to focus primarily on floor
exercises. Continuing her training, Kayla has 5 years of tumbling
experience from Precision Gymnastics in her home town of Rancho
Cucamonga. Kayla was an active member on her high school cheer
squad in which she took the titles of Junior Varsity Captain and
Varsity Pep Commissioner. She has experience in choreographing
competition-style routines and has taught numerous cheer and tumbling
clinics which combine conditioning, tumbling, and hip hop choreography.
Her main teaching-style focuses on building strength and technique
in order to execute safe tumbling practices.
Her goal for the year is for her students to overcome the mental
challenges that often inhibit progress in gymnastics and for them
to understand that they are capable of achieving extraordinary
things!
